We're really pleased to announce that the 2008 Tour de France will be going past Luchon on Sunday 13th July. Towards the end of Stage 9 the peloton will be making its way up the mighty Col de Peyresourde to finish in the next town of Bagneres-de-Bigorre. AQR's base in Luchon is situated right beside the start of the Col de Peyresourde. It will be the perfect opportunity to witness the world’s greatest cyclists in action, as well as enjoying all the mountain biking and road cycling yourself in Luchon and the surrounding Hautes Pyrenees.

Join AQR for 7 days of mountain biking bliss* in the heart of the French Pyrenees, plus one day where you will discover the soul of the Tour de France. Be part of the live action as the yellow jersey and the rest of the peloton make their way past Luchon.

* This week AQR provide mountain bike guided loops for six full days of mountain biking, plus self-guided road routes for those of you who would like to experience the Tour De France cols in the area. If you would like to bring your road bike along then mountain bike hire is available.
